My role as Chair of the charity is to ensure the work undertaken by the charity is in keeping with the vision and purpose as laid out in the governing document. I oversee and contribute to the strategy and vision of the charity and help the board to solve problems and implement changes that allow the charity to function well and deliver the strategy. I assist with teaching and training of the volunteers of the charity and assist with the development of new systems and processes in response to feedback from relevant stakeholders. I arrange and chair the Trustee board meetings and assist the other trustees in their work and specific roles for the charity. I take a lead role in promoting the charity and steering the organisation to keep it on course in delivering the work and achieving its goals.
