Meet Georgie – our new Operations Manager!

We truly are a charity that requires big hearts and amazing minds to run. We are nothing without our people and we are absolutely delighted to announce Georgie as our new Operations Manager.

For two months already, Georgie has been spinning the multiple plates and oiling the wheels of our charity Little LifeSavers, and quite frankly we don’t know what we did without her before! 

From keeping the volunteers updated on their sessions to being the school liaison contact to ask questions and supporting onboarding and social media reachouts, Georgie certainly has her hands full.

When she’s not sorting out all things organisational for us, Georgie enjoys spending time with her family or getting creative – she loves learning new crafty skills and she’s always got a project (or 10) on the go! 

We caught up with Georgie to introduce her to you…

Hi Georgie, we’re so glad to have you on the team. Would you like to share what your role entails?

Hello! I’m very excited to have joined Little LifeSavers Charity as the new ‘Operations Manager’. I will manage all school bookings and volunteer arrangements and ensure our free CPR sessions run smoothly. On top of this, I will be helping the Charity grow and expand its network, outreach, and funding. I will also be volunteering in my free time when I can!

We’re excited to have you! What did you get up to before you joined us?

I come from a legal background, but since then, I’ve diversified my career and worked for a not-for-profit organisation running their training programme (amongst other things). I’ve also worked in schools since having my own two beautiful children.

What grabbed your attention for Little LifeSavers?

When I saw the Operations Manager job advertised at Little LifeSavers, I knew this job was for me! I love to help people and work for a good cause.

I admire everything that Little LifeSavers stands for – empowering children with basic lifesaving skills could not be a more worthy aim in my eyes! 

We know you’ll smash it as our Operations Manager! 

I cannot wait to start making a difference and helping the charity ‘create a nation of lifesavers’.
